Four teams to vie for top honours in the Dubai tournament
Dubai: Four teams will vie for top honours in the Mammoths Cricket League, which will begin on October 7
The tournament, organised by Dubai Mammoths Cricket Club, under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council, will be run until January 2017.
The teams are Jumeirah Mammoths, Zabeel Mammoths, Nad Al Sheeba Mammoths and Shindagha Mammoths.
They will play each other on a triple-round league format, with the top two teams qualifying for the final.
All matches are of 25-overs per-side format and will be played on turf wickets at the Sevens Cricket grounds during the weekends.
This League is being played by the amateur level involving many Dubai-based businessmen and Corporate Company players from different industries.
