Hamdan meets future sports leaders

Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, on Monday met the 33 participants in the Hamdan Bin Mohammad Sports Leaders Programme.

Shaikh Hamdan attended the introductory course for participants, which aims to produce quality national sports leaders who can achieve sustainable development in the field of sports in Dubai.

Shaikh Hamdan told the participants that he was proud of them for succeeding in the previous tests and evaluations and being selected out of 345 applicants.

"We must exert efforts to serve our nation, and those who do not work have nothing to offer their nation," Shaikh Hamdan said, pointing out that the top five participants would be honoured.
