Golf legend Colin Montgomerie was given a scare as he got a tap on the shoulder from an unexpected fan at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

The Scottish legend — known for his grumpy moods and brilliant play — was approached from behind by none other than Bugs Bunny, who had snuck over from neighbouring Warner Bros theme park on Yas Island to the Yas Links. And he gave the record eight-time European Tour Order of Merit and 31 European Tour title winner quite a surprise.

Luckily for Bugs and his cohort Daffy Duck, Monty saw the funny side and shared a laugh with the cheeky characters before getting back to the action.
