Maya, Breen and Cowley win EGC October Ladies’ Monthly Medals

The Ladies Medal supported by Park Hyatt took place on the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club with 41 ladies participating.

The Silver Division A (Hcap 0 to 14) winner was Naima Maya with a superb round of 66. Her round included a gross birdie on the 5th hole as well as multiple net birdies throughout her round. Runner-up was Anne Gely Bouigue with a score of 72, while Maura Duggan, celebrating her birthday, came third with a score of 73. The Best Gross score of the day was Glory Xavier with an 83 (BB9).

Back nine

The Silver Division A (Hcap 15 to 23) saw three ladies: Margaret Breen, Genie Owiti and Sabine Choudry, all tied with a score of 74. Margaret won the Division with a better back nine, with Genie runner-up and Sabine third.

The Bronze Division (Hcap 24 to 36) was won by Alison Cowley for the second month running – her superb round of 68 saw her finish five shots clear of Martha Wong who was runner-up with a 73.
