14-year-old Emanuele Galeppini third in EGU tournament

Emanuele Galeppini claimed third spot in the 'Reid Trophy' at Sandiway Golf Club in the UK. Missing out on a playoff by just one shot in the England Golf Union event.

The Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club Member had impressive rounds with a brace of 71s followed up by a final round 67 to finish -1 total gross for the amateur tournament.

The overall winner was Juan Miro Asorey from Spain who defeated Sullivan Goddard in a sudden death play-off.

Shajrah Amateur Invitational

Earlier this season Emanuele won the Shajrah Amateur Invitational at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club and came tied 2nd in the Italian National Under 14 Championship.

The Dubai resident currently plays off a handicap of +2.1. The 14-year-old Italian is also part of the Junior Elite squad at Tommy Fleetwood Academy Dubai, Jumeirah Golf Estates.
