Alvaro Negredo has taken up the challenge laid down by Paul Pogba, with his own training ground strike from beyond the goal.

The Valencia man, currently on loan from Manchester City, bends on with his left foot from what looks like further back than Juventus’s Pogba in a clip uploaded to YouTube.

Negredo’s strike came before his team ended Real Madrid’s run of 22 consecutive victories with a 2-1 La Liga triumph on Sunday.
