London: Premier League side Leicester City have sacked manager Craig Shakespeare four months after taking over from Claudio Ranieri on a full-time basis.

He becomes the second Premier League manager to go this season after Frank de Boer was sacked by Crystal Palace.

The Foxes are currently languishing at the bottom end of the league table following the 1-1 draw at home against West Bromwich Albion.

They are in the relegation zone with six points from their first eight matches.

Under Ranieri, they won the Premier League title as recently as 2016.
