The result came after a series of unbelievable errors from both sides

In one of the most astonishing finishes to a T20 match, Bangladesh A pulled off a dramatic Super Over win against India A to book their place in the final of the 2025 Asia Cup Rising Stars in Doha. The result came after a series of unbelievable errors from both sides, with India collapsing under pressure when it mattered most.
The match in Doha was a high scoring contest that swung repeatedly. Bangladesh A put up 194 for 6, driven by a blistering 48 from only 18 balls by Meherob. India A came out firing, led by a rapid 38 from 15 by Vaibhav Suryavanshi, before Bangladesh tightened the screws in the middle overs. Just when it looked like India had the chase under control, the momentum shifted again in the closing stages. Bangladesh dropped catches, missed run outs and even gifted a boundary through a misfield, allowing India to drag the game into a Super Over.
India needed sixteen runs to win and Rakibul Hassan had the ball. Ashutosh took a single off the first delivery and Wadhera followed with another, leaving thirteen needed from four. Ashutosh then exploded with a six and a four from back to back balls. The next one was a yorker and Ashutosh got bowled.
That left four needed from the last delivery with Dubey on strike. What followed was chaos. It was a yorker outside off that he drove straight down the ground toward long on. They rushed back for the second, the throw came in but drifted wide, the keeper collected it and missed the stumps, and the batters scrambled through for a third. A messy end and it took the match into a super over.
Once the match went to a one over shootout, India A completely lost their way. Batting first, the Jitesh Sharma led side were bowled out without scoring a single run. Ripon Mondol struck twice in two balls and India’s campaign ended in brutal fashion.
Chasing only one run, Bangladesh A still managed to create one last twist. Yasir Ali, trying to finish the job with style, fell to the first ball. But Suyash Sharma then sent down a wide on the leg side, handing Bangladesh the victory and a place in the final.
Ripon Mondol was named Player of the Match for his outstanding Super Over spell. Bangladesh will face the winner of Pakistan A versus Sri Lanka A, while India A are left wondering how they let a match slip that they appeared to have won several times.
