Crasto, Pradeep advance to semi-finals

Dubai: Stefan Crasto and Amal Pradeep reached the semi-finals of the boys' Under-12 singles in the India Club-Western Union UAE Open Badminton Tournament.

In the quarter-final, they defeated Aditya Gokhale and Vaisakh Vineethan 21-12, 21-8 and 21-12, 21-13 respectively.

In another quarter-final match, Adrian Mathews cruised into the semi-final after defeating Naveen Pillai 21-11, 21-19.

Meanwhile, Tanisha Crasto and Sara Siraj will clash for the title in the girls' Under-12 singles. Crasto beat Evana Elsa Bose 21-18, 22-20, while Siraj beat Shreya Shalilesh Hegde 17-21, 21-18, 21-10.
