Adil Khalid set for second Volvo Ocean Race

Dubai: Adil Khalid, the first Arab sailor to compete in the Volvo Ocean Race, is preparing for his second voyage with Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing.

The 26-year-old Emirati helmsman and trimmer will set off with the team from Alicante, Spain, on October 11 before calling into Abu Dhabi via Cape Town, South Africa, on January 2.
