The 47th Dakar Rally kicked off on Friday, January 3, with a prologue in Bisha, Saudi Arabia and ends on January 17. 778 competitors from 72 countries will cover 8,000 kilometres over 12 stages to finish in Shubaytah, on the border of the United Arab Emirates. Check out the pictures:
