"Urban elegance meets serene tranquillity" - Al Majaz Waterfront mirrors the heart of Sharjah in perfect harmony, says Gideon L. Muñoz Jr, who captured this photo. Hailing from the Philippines, the 33-year-old has been living in Al Majaz 2, Sharjah, for two years and five months and currently works at The Philippine School — Dubai as guidance staff.
"Bathed in light: Dubai Creek viewing deck" - This long-exposure photograph of the Dubai Creek viewing deck was taken by Joseph Ishmael, a 17-year-old Filipino expat born and raised in Dubai.
"It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves" - This captivating image of Jebel Jais was captured by Dr Madiha Habeeb, who has been residing in the UAE for the last year and a half. The 29-year-old clinical pharmacist says the image reminds her of the famous words by Edmund Hillary, who was the first to scale Mount Everest with Tenzing Norgay: ‘It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.’
"A symbol of triumph, unity, and passion" - An iconic moment captured with the Burj Khalifa standing tall in the backdrop, as the three-finger symbol speaks volumes of triumph, unity, and passion that defines the spirit of Dubai.
"Fire in the sky" - This picture, captured by Indian expat Shailesh Ranjan, a banker in Dubai for over two years, shows Kite Beach on a cloudy day. Ranjan says the overcast conditions make it appear as if the sky is on fire. “The scene feels like an exhilarating clash between nature’s raw power and the vibrant spirit of Dubai!”
