Pictures: Dubai leaders show the way in fight against COVID-19

NERVE CENTRE : His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the COVID-19 Command and Control Centre at the Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Dubai on August 15, 2020.

PANDEMIC BRIEFING : Sheikh Mohammed is briefed on the operations of the COVID-19 Command and Control Centre. He said the UAE has succeeded in tackling the -19 outbreak and set an example for the world on managing the pandemic.

FIELD VISIT : Sheikh Hamdan visits the field hospital at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). It was the biggest COVID facility in the Middle East.

VACCINATION DRIVE : Sheikh Mansoor visited the vaccination facilities at health care centres across Dubai.

TALKING STRATEGY : Sheikh Mansoor, who visited the vaccination facilities at health care centres across Dubai, said the success of task forces in countering the pandemic had been the result of an integrated multipronged strategy.

Sheikh Mansoor is briefed on the vaccination drives organized by health care centres in Dubai. In all, 120 vaccination centres have been set up in Dubai.
