The UAE Flag Day today is a very special occasion and gives residents yet another opportunity to express their gratitude to the country and its visionary leaders. It is a moment of great pride as both Emiratis and expats celebrate the spectacular achievements of the UAE over the past 51 years.

Al Fursan, the UAE Airforce's aerobatic display team, painted the sky with the colours of the UAE flag at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library.

Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and CEO, Expo City Dubai Authority on Thursday hoisted the UAE flag at Expo City Dubai’s Al Wasl Plaza in celebration of UAE Flag Day. The flag was raised as the UAE National Anthem echoed across the plaza, with the Expo City Dubai team joining to mark the occasion. Later this evening, the UAE colours will light up Al Wasl dome’s 360-degree projection surface.

Sharjah marked UAE Flag Day on 3 November with a flag-raising ceremony on The Flag Island. The celebration included an air show organized by the Air Wing Department - Sharjah.

The Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee organized a number of programs and events to celebrate Flag Day. It is also making preparations to celebrate the 51st UAE National Day, with a program of activities across Sharjah that will last for 10 days from 24 November to 3 December 2022.

The Academy of Police Sciences' military band also participated in the flag-raising ceremony, playing the UAE national anthem to celebrate the occasion.

The Dubai Police joined the UAE leadership, citizens, and residents in celebrating the country’s Flag Day and raised the flag high and proud at the headquarter premises. The ceremony, was attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, and a number of Dubai Police senior officers.
