In photos: All the times Sheikh Hamdan showed us his animal friends

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, is an avid animal lover – it’s evident in his many Instagram posts. Here he is with a gentle giant. He captioned this photo with the elephant: “L👀k who came to say hi 👃🏼 خشمك #Friday.”

Sheikh Hamdan once put up a video of himself saying hello to his camels Emaar and Fares. In the video he is sitting in the driver’s seat in his famous Mercedes G-Class calling out to his camels by name, giving them snacks as they rush to his window.

Remember this one? Sheikh Hamdan had shared a video of chicks that had hatched next to his car’s windscreen and been cared for so that they could now take to the skies on their own.

He has previously shared videos and pictures of himself with horses, giraffes, dogs, falcons, gazelles, oryxes, hedgehogs and even a little hermit crab.
