In more ways than one, this year's Ramadan urges us to be more introspective. It’s been a year of loss and small wins. As we observe Ramadan, we look inwards for gentleness and kindness to one another and to ourselves. Celebrities across the world have shared wishes for fans and followers on thisoccasion. Some have even shared life lessons too. Here’s a look at a cross-section of Pakistani stars who have wished their fans.

Actress Iqra Aziz, of ‘Khuda Aur Mohabbat’ fame, also wished the million or so fans she has a happy Ramadan. On her feed, she posted a photo of herself with husband Yasir Hussain.

Mehwish Hayat, known best for her role in ‘Load Wedding’, wrote: “First of Ramzan, sitting here pondering over some very important questions. Do I take mint chutney or chilli sauce with my Samosas, should I take cheese omelette or aloo paratha for sehri.” She added: “And the biggest question - lassi or Rooh Afza. Lol”. “Happy Ramadan everyone ! Have a blessed one !” Right. So her sense of humour is intact.

‘Kashf’ actress Hira Mani called for patience and thought this year. She wrote that during Ramadan one must exercise patience as others are fasting too.

‘Mehar Posh’ actor Ayeza Khan posted yellow flowers for her fans. Her message was simple and elegant too. "For a beautiful beginning..... May Allah protect us and accept all our prayers, Ameen," she wrote.

Neelam Muneer referenced the pandemic in her message to the world. She said: “Hope everyone is doing well, first of all, Ramadan Kareem to everyone.” She then thanked Allah for showing us again the month of Ramadan with good health and strength, after the COVID pandemic disturbed everyone so much.

Twins Aiman Khan and Minal Khan also had wishes to share. Minal Khan, calling it her favourite time of the month, wrote: "Favorite time of the year! Ramadan Kareem everyone, May Allah bless us all with his kindness Ameen," she captioned the post.

Actor Mawra Hocane was overwhelmed by the present she got from peer Ameer Gilani. She was given a red Quran. She thanked him, writing: “The most most beautiful present, one could ever give to someone Ty ameergilani P.s it feels like Ramazan already #Alhumdulillah.” Gilani responded, “All the guidelines to happiness, peace and success.”
