Fashionistas looking for the latest summer trends will find a vibrant and colourful array of stylish garments and accessories at Fiesta of Colours, to be hosted by Designer's Lounge on March 26 and 27, from 10am to 9pm.
The exhibition has been put together by Razia Shariff of Designer's Lounge in collaboration with Divya Gurwara, a well known name in the world of Indian fashion.
Eclectic collection
It features an eclectic collection of saris, kurtas, suits, skirts and wraps as well as handbags, belts, jewellery, footwear and other accessories designed by some of the most promising Indian designers.
Gurwara, a well known fashion and jewellery designer, pioneered the concept of Bridal Asia, the first bridal show in India. As the chief executive officer of Bridal Asia since 1999, she is constantly on the look out for new and fresh talent.
Designers from India
For this Fiesta of Colours she has brought together young and upcoming designers from all over India to create a collection that displays the many facets of Indian creativity and style.
The display includes block printed chiffon, georgette and silk bridal wear by Puja Arya, patchwork and mirrorwork garments by Ritika Bhasin, Minaxi Dadoo's innovatively textured cotton, khadi and mulmul garments, Nillaya's funky costume jewellery, bags and shoes and Malini Aggarwal's Malaga brand of couture hand crafted bags, belts and shoes.
Also displaying their individualistic garments will be Prriya Awasthy, Vandana n Rakhi, Nasha, Ashish Pandey, Anu Sachdeva and Elisha W.
