Landline malfunction
I am having a tough time in reaching etisalat. I lodged a complaint with them, but it was automatically closed with the remark that the phone is working. Neither did a technician visit us nor was a reply sent. I am without a landline phone for three weeks and my mobile bill is mounting, as for local calls I have to use my mobile, too.
The Al Shamil for wireless has stopped working after the fibre optic cable was installed. I have followed up with 101 so many times. They said they will send a technician but there is still no respite from my ordeal. I have lodged yet another complaint.

Kindly be informed that Mr Lokhandwala's issue has been resolved at the customer's satisfaction.
Mr Lokhandwala responds:
I received a call from etisalat. My internet issue is not resolved. I spoke to a representative on the same [issue]. The landline is working but not the wireless. The techician was not able to set it up and he had to leave since I was late for work. He gave me his number and said he will set it up. However despite calling him repeatedly, he did not answer the phone. The conclusion is, the wireless internet is not working and the phone has started working.
