Gulf News reader Sreekumar Ambat was appalled when he came across this sight in Hamdan Street, Abu Dhabi.

He said: “I have noticed that garbage is being dumped at the entrances of deserted buildings in some parts of the city. This building overlooks the road and is located behind Ahalia Hospital. I request the relevant authorities to look into this matter, since public awareness is required to keep our neighbourhood clean. Urgent attention is needed, as it would help stop the spread of any diseases that may originate from such unclean places.”
