Summer has already arrived in the region and people are beginning to feel the scorching heat as the temperature rises. It's fine when you are home. But on the road, it's a different matter. Well, if you go about by car, it should still be okay. But you will start feeling the heat if you travel by bus.

The air-conditioned bus shelters installed by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to make the wait for a bus comfortable are out of order in most locations around Dubai.

There are chances that people will get sunstroke or become dehydrated from standing outside for long periods when waiting for a bus.

The RTA should take immediate steps to fix the air conditioners in the bus stops.

This should be done without any further delay for the safety of the passengers who are suffering due to the humidity and heat.
