New online features to enhance experience Sharjah Museums

Dubai: Sharjah Museums Department (SMD) has unveiled a range of new online services set to enhance the experience of visitors who wish to explore the emirate’s unique heritage. The additions to the department’s website, announced today at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, will enable visitors to book educational workshops, view publications and browse some of the museums’ collections and galleries online. Tourists will also be able to plan their trips and get the most out of Sharjah’s historic and cultural attractions. SMD’s museums already offer several services, including multi-language WiFi audio guides, disabled access points and maternity facilities.
