Dubai: Indian expats have been invited to contribute to their prime minister’s cleanliness and sanitation project called Swachh Bharat Kosh (Clean India Mission).

Swachh Bharat is a flagship scheme of the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Indian Consulate in Dubai said in a press release on Thursday.

“The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation has instituted the mission to attract CSR funds and contributions from individuals including NRIs/PIOs. All NRIs/PIOs may consider participating in the prime minister’s project by making contributions to the Swachh Bharat Kosh,” the consulate said.
