Dubai tourist's suicide bid foiled

Dubai: A hotel guest was rescued after attempt suicide from a hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai Police said on Saturday.

Officials in Dubai Police said that they were alerted by the hotel about a European guest throwing furniture from the hotel to the street.

Police patrol of Bur Dubai Police station responded and tried to control the guest  who tried to commit suicide.

The guest was under the influence of alcohol, official in Dubai Police said.
