Dubai: Members of the Bohra community, a religious and ethnic group that hails from western India, will hold a blood donation drive in Dubai on Monday.
The drive will be held at the Al Ghusais community centre, and organised by the blood bank unit of Latifa Hospital. The blood donation has been held during Ramadan for two years.
For the drive, which will take place from 8.30pm to midnight, officials expect over 175 community members to donate blood.
The event also coincides with WHO World Blood Donation Day, which will be held on June 14.
