Abu Dhabi: A total of 14 fines have been issued to residents found living in cramped quarters or in non-residential units in the capital’s suburbs, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality announced in a statement on Tuesday.
The violations were detected during municipal inspections in Bani Yas, Shawamekh, Al Wathba and Shamkha. In such cases, fines can range from Dh10,000 to Dh100,000, and from Dh100,000 to Dh200,000 for repeat offenders, the statement said.
