‘The Sphere’ showcases Dubai from all angles

Do you want to watch the now famous Dubai 360 footage in the way it was intended? Head to The Sphere, a 15-metre spherical projection theatre at the Star Atrium in Dubai Mall, which will bring to life the panoramic content of Dubai360.com, the largest interactive city tour on the web.

The structure will allow visitors to immerse themselves in footage provided by Dubai360 and Dubai Film, and view the city from various perspectives.

Inside, visitors will climb a set of stairs and be surrounded by a clip that showcases Dubai’s landscapes from virtually all angles.

The structure is built by the San Francisco-based Obscura.

The Sphere will not open to the public as planned on March 2, organisers tell us. The opening is delayed until further notice.
