Shining Star International School celebrates 10 glorious years with 'GOOD' rating from ADEK

Shining Star International School (SSIS) proudly marks a decade of educational excellence in 2024, celebrated with a significant milestone: earning a coveted 'Good' rating in the latest inspections conducted by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). This achievement reflects the school’s unwavering commitment to delivering affordable, high-quality education, supported by the dedication of its teachers, staff, and vibrant community.

With over 2,000 students SSIS continues to be a cornerstone of premium education tailored to Abu Dhabi’s diverse communities.

In early 2024, SSIS demonstrated exceptional academic progress, achieving a remarkable 92-point improvement in the International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) benchmark. Beyond academics, the school’s holistic approach to education is evident through active student participation in robotics, environmental initiatives, sports, Model United Nations (MUN), and climate action projects.

Principal Ms. Abhilasha Singh expressed pride in the school’s achievements: "This milestone is a testament to the relentless hard work and passion of our team.
