Last day of school
The last day of school brings millions of emotions to a student's mind. It usually starts off with an examination. So be it the nervousness of sitting for an examination, the excitement of it finally coming to an end, the responsible feeling of being out of high school and stepping out of the adolescent world, to the remorse of leaving behind blissful memories that have piled up within you almost from the time you gained your senses.
Many a time, students map out their future on this day, many saying they will join the same universities as their friends. But this doesn't usually happen. No matter... every moment spent on the last day of school is beautiful. Whoever has gone through it can relate to the feelings; those who have yet to experience this day are in for an emotional rollercoaster.
A new world
Leaving your friends, whom you've known since the time you learnt how to spell, is heart-wrenching. But it is, after all, the way life works; especially when life puts you in major situations that you have to move through all by yourself.
Stepping onto a new campus is one of them. It is said that we students adapt to new places very quickly as our age is such; but what they fail to notice is the turmoil inside us. Will the students be nice? Will the teachers notice me? What if I end up being a loner? These are a few of the many scary questions we face.
The best thing to do is to shake off those nerves, and walk onto your new campus confidently and you will soon make this school your territory as well!
