Erstwhile couple Pops Fernandez and Martin Nieverra can never seem to get over their relationship despite leading separate lives.

They are still fighting years after they separated. Perhaps the wounds haven't healed on Pops's side.

'Monkeys'

Their latest squabble involved Martin's new love Katrina Ojeda allegedly calling Martin and Pops's children "monkeys".

According to Martin, Katrina said it in jest and it was taken out of context. The concert king also said he and Pops had been
over and done with for nine years.

Emotional

Pops, however, was quick to deny Martin's statements, saying she only heard about it recently while she was on a concert tour in the US. An emotional Pops appealed to Martin to stop lying and told Katrina on national TV not to say bad things about her children.

For her part, Katrina was said to have apologised to Martin's children by Pops, Robin and Ram.

All's well that ends well? For these two? Showbiz Tsismis doubts it.

TV ratings

AGB Nielsen Philippines ratings from last weekend showed little movement except for a dramatic rise in Boy and Kris's lead over rival programme Sis.

This battle is interesting to watch, considering Boy Abunda and Kris Aquinio are such hosting heavyweights.

But Sis has proven it is capable of holding its own, even leading Boy and Kris for sometime.

And lest we forget, Sis has been against six or seven shows from the rival network, but none has so far succeeded.

Here are Your ratings winners last weekend: SiS 11.3 per cent v Boy and Kris 16.6 per cent
