Nervecell goes global

German based LifeForce Records saw the metal quartet perform at the With Full Force festival and were eager to sign them up.

Stefan Luedicke, CEO of the independent label, said they are more than happy to welcome Dubai's premier death metal band to Lifeforce. "After meeting the guys at this year's With Full Force festival it was an easy decision for us to say that we need to work with Nervecell. We hardly ever met a band with such strong work ethic and with the highly professional team of people working for the band, it will be a great pleasure for us to get the name Nervecell out to the world," he said.

Nervecell have signed a five-year record deal, which guarantees the release of their album Preaching Venom throughout Europe on October 26th.

Nervecell guitarist Barney Ribeiro said: "Basically this is what we have been working for nine years, this is an ideal step a band wants to reach... Now the hard work is paying off and it is an achievement.

"If it does not sound too much of a cliché, it is a dream come true," Ribeiro said.
