Winehouse pleads not guilty

Singer Amy Winehouse turned a court appearance into a spring fashion show Tuesday as she pleaded innocent to assaulting a fan at a party last year. The 25-year-old star known for battles with addiction and frequent run-ins with the law stepped out of a car wearing a low-cut floral mini-dress and her trademark beehive hairdo. Paparazzi flashed away at their first sighting of the diva since she returned from an extended break on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. Winehouse, who has been in and out of rehab, looked healthier than in recent appearances and appeared to be in good spirits.

Winehouse's drug problems have been front page news whn she was pictured puffing on what appeared to be a crack pipe last year. She was fined for illegally possessing marijuana in Norway in 2007, and also got a police warning in April of last year after scuffling with two men during a night out on the town in Camden, a north London neighbourhood known for its music scene and drug culture.

Natasha's loved ones at her side

Natasha Richardson's husband Liam Neeson and their sons are at her bedside in hospital after she suffered a serious head injury in a fall at a ski resort. The 45-year-old star is being treated at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York following the accident at the Mont Tremblant resort in Quebec. The actress was flown back to the US from Canada for further treatment, and although there has been no official word on her condition, some reports have suggested she could have serious brain injuries. The accident happened while Natasha was taking a supervised lesson on a beginners run, the Mont Tremblant resort said.

Luz risks Madonna's wrath

Madonna's boyfriend Jesus Luz has risked her wrath — by canoodling with a sexy younger woman at a party, reports The Sun. Brazilian Jesus, 22, was seen tenderly clasping lingerie model Luciana Costa as they swayed to the music in his home city of Rio, the newspaper reported

Jen's man in new love story

Jennifer Aniston's ex was involved in another love story with a younger Hollywood beauty even before her latest split. Nineteen-year-old singing sensation Taylor Swift has told how John Mayer is such a huge fan of her latest hit, Love Story, he just had to let her know. "I was walking down the hall at the Grammys and John Mayer came up to me and said, 'I love your song Love Story'," explains Taylor. "He even started singing the bridge. That was totally amazing." Asked if Jen's latest ex had hit on her, Taylor adds: "No. He was very nice."

Baker named sexiest TV star

Aussie actor Simon Baker has been named the sexiest man on US television. TV Guide magazine announced that the star of hit show The Mentalist had beaten Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey who had been given the accolade for the past two years. "My wife said to me this morning 'I could take a photo of you right now and they might take that title away from you'," Simon told the mag.

"That is the kind of encouragement I need as I go off to do a photo shoot about having to be sexy." Simon plays investigator Patrick Jane on the crime drama series which airs on US network CBS. The other handsome hunks on TV Guide's "sexiest" list included CSI's George Eads, Bones' David Boreanaz, True Blood's Ryan Kwanten and Matthew Settle from Gossip Girl.
