Nothing beats the joy of going for the first day, first show of a new film.

But, what if you can watch your favourite star without the hassles of booking a ticket and travelling to the theatre, maybe lounging in your drawing room or lying in bed?

Well, that moment has arrived with Tamil director’s novel initiative, Cinema2Home, which finally took off on March 6 with the release of his film, JK Enum Nanbanin Vazhakkai.

Cheran brings his latest film to your drawing rooms and bedrooms, with a mere click on www.c2hnetwork.com.

This bold move, a first in South Indian cinema and in Indian cinema too, saw the film being released not only in theatres, but in DVD format, set-top boxes and through online streaming on the same day.

More than five Tamil films release every week but have a short life span in the theatres. Producers and distributors thus fail to make enough money. C2H Network provides a platform for new films besides making an attempt to tackle video piracy.

C2H Network was initiated in July 2014. Around 5,000 dealers and 154 distributors were trained in marketing.

Film buffs can now look out for new releases through C2H. And it does not matter whether you live in India or abroad, watching a Tamil film has never been so easy. It’s just a click away on www.c2hnetwork.com.

What are you waiting for? Get the popcorn going in the microwave?
