Rivermaya’s Escueta has judging gig in Dubai

Rivermaya guitarist Mark Escueta is one of the judges who will be selecting this year’s winner of Al Ghurair Centre’s Battle of the Bands which will take place next week, on November 13 to 15 at the shopping centre in Al Rigga, Deira.

Escueta and his band performed recently at a concert alongside another Filipino band Kamikaze and rap artist Gloc 9.

Aside from the competition among amateur bands in the UAE, Battle of the Bands will also feature break-dancers and hip-hop, free-style acts to keep the crowd entertained.
