Why Mahira Khan film ‘Verna’ got delayed

Seems like acclaimed screenwriter and director Shoaib Mansoor has got another reason to delay his much-awaited Mahira-Khan-starrer Verna: The film’s “leaked” plot.

As the story goes, a local newsweekly recently printed a curtain-raiser on Verna that briefly mentioned, among other things, the film’s one-liner.

Apparently, Mansoor was so upset that he called everyone associated with the project and took them to task. He also told them in strong terms that they should not speak to the media directly.

What’s more, Mansoor even started contemplating re-shooting his film’s climax. Talk about being paranoid.
