Nepali child singer Sachin Pariyar, known for his hit song "Otha Kholera," has died at the age of 15.

Hospital sources told media that Pariyar passed away Thursday morning at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, where he had been receiving treatment for various health issues for over five years.

He had been diagnosed with a congenital trilateral ventricular cyst and central diabetes insipidus, requiring daily medication.

After being admitted on December 28, 2024, with high fever and seizures, his condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to complications including pneumonia, multiple organ dysfunction, and cardiac arrest.

Despite intensive care, he died on the fifth day of hospitalisation due to severe pulmonary bleeding.

Pariyar's musical contributions included the popular song "Bar Ko Chhayanle" and his own hit, "Otha Kholera," which garnered over 19 million YouTube views.
