Reports suggest that he's all set to marry a rich businessman's daughter from South India
Dubai: Prabhas, the Telugu superstar who is notorious for keeping a low profile, is back in the headlines—and no, it’s not for another high-octane action film or mythological epic like the Baahubali franchise. This time, the buzz is all about him getting hitched.
According to News18 Telugu, the word on the street is that Prabhas' wedding has been finalised with the daughter of a well-known businessman. Her identity remains a mystery, but the rumour mill is spinning faster than a Baahubali battle scene.
While Prabhas is yet to open up about these speculations, his team issued an official clarification stating that there is no truth to the rumours about his marriage. They also promised that any genuine updates would be announced directly by them.
Prabhas is South India's most bankable stars post-Baahubali and he has always managed to keep his life under wraps.
In an earlier interview with Gulf News during his Saaho shoot in Abu Dhabi, the actor was in a candid, reflective mood. Dressed in a plain black shirt and jeans, Prabhas quietly slipped into the press meet, devoid of any celebrity frills. No entourage, no showmanship—just a grounded man who had seen unprecedented fame and was still disarmingly low-key.
While the conversation then revolved around high-octane action scenes and filming stunts on real bridges and roads, the man behind the action star gave us glimpses of someone who values simplicity and purpose.
“We made Baahubali with pure intentions,” Prabhas had said. “It taught us that we might be remembered for the rest of our lives if we do something with good intentions in our hearts.”
Could that same intention be guiding his personal choices now?
The notoriously private actor also hinted at a life beyond films, revealing:
“If not films, maybe I will do agriculture.”
That offhand comment, uttered with a smile, gave a glimpse into the kind of life Prabhas might crave—peaceful, rooted, and away from the spotlight.
Though he didn’t speak of love or marriage directly, his statement about learning to analyse his own strengths from director S.S. Rajamouli feels telling:
“He taught me the art of analysing your own strengths… He’s an example of someone who develops an idea and perfects it into its best version.”
