The band is touring with Christine McVie, who’s back after 16 years

Though they began as a blues band of some note in England in 1967 and became better known through a succession of pop-minded leaders from Danny Kirwan to Bob Welch in subsequent years, Fleetwood Mac became a superstar band in the mid-1970s with the addition of Californians Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.
After a couple of blockbuster albums and some other very popular ones, they began to splinter. Now, with singer-songwriter Christine McVie’s return, the band’s current tour is its first since 1998 to feature the full, most popular line-up.
