Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi take Dubai

American talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres and actress Portia de Rossi were in the UAE on Sunday night, partying it up at The Act Dubai at the Shangri-La Hotel.

Very little is known about the pair’s visit to the city except that they were invited for dinner by the club’s management.

Social media fan DeGeneres, whose Oscar selfie last year broke records, has been mum on Twitter and Instagram. De Rossi shared an Instagram photo with fellow Australian, Dubai-based fashion designer Sacha Plumbridge, taken at the club. She captioned it: “Me and my oldest and bestest @sachaplumbridge last night in Dubai”.
