Britney Spears has become embroiled in a catfight with the Pussycat Dolls. The 27-year-old singer is being supported by the burlesque group on her Circus tour, but all is not well between the chart-toppers. "Britney seems to have a chip on her shoulder about how the fans have been reacting to Nicole (Scherzinger) and the rest of the Pussycat Dolls," said a tour insider.

"The group is riding high at the moment and are brilliant live. Britney seems to be a little uncomfortable with that, and Nicole has not exactly put her at ease. She been making a point of celebrating the success of their vresion of the song "Jai Ho!" - their take on the Oscar-winning song from "Slumdog Millionaire" - and saying how much pride she takes in it singing live. It's got to the point where they don't see each other at all now."

Hot-headed heavyweight Russell Crowe has a special way of picking which movies to star in - by his goosebumps. Russell says he will never take on a role if the script doesn't make the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. "I have a rule, which is what I call the goosebumps rule. If I read a script and it gets to me I feel it. I have a physical reaction. And then I have to do the movie. No goosebumps, no movie. It's that simple."

Michelle is lost as recession hits

"My idea for a clothing line is dead. We're in a recession. I'm thinking about movies right now. I think too big. My problem is all the money would be coming from Dubai and I just I think on a really big scale. That's my problem."

Bill Murray will lead a team of veteran spook catchers for the big-screen return of "Ghostbusters". Actor-director Harold Ramis has confirmed that he, Murray and Dan Aykroyd will reprise the roles they first took on 25 years ago, in "Ghostbusters 3". "We're all going to be in it in different kinds of roles," says Ramis, 64. "We're going to be the sage mentors. There are going to be young Ghostbusters too. It's very exciting to be coming back for a whole new generation of haunting!"
