Aamir plays hard to get

Shah Rukh might be Bollywood's King Khan but nobody can dispute that it is Aamir Khan who has been ruling the box-office for the past few years. His movies, Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini and the recent 3 Idiots have been big hits.

Whether it is in terms of mass appeal or critical acclaim, it is the pint-size actor who is packing all the punches. Not one to rest on his laurels, the actor has moved on after the mega success of 3 Idiots.

According to sources, he has been approached by the late film-making legend Guru Dutt's son Arun to play the lead role in a challenging biopic that he plans to make on his father. Aamir, the perfectionist that he is, has told Arun that he will accept the role only after he has read the final script and is thoroughly convinced about it.

Since the film-makers are keen on having Aamir onboard, they are burning the midnight oil to get the script ready before Aamir has second thoughts. Now that's who we call a real star, one who has people writing scripts with him in mind.

Is Bebo engaged?

It seems like the Bollywood beauties are getting hitched one by one. This time it is Kareena Kapoor. Yes, we're talking about Bebo, Saif Ali Khan's arm candy since 2007.

If you are wondering why the news has not been splashed all over the print and electronic media, it is because Tinseltown's power couple has not made an official announcement about the engagement as yet.

It is the rock (diamond of course), that Bebo was sporting on her ring finger during the rehearsal of an award ceremony that created the buzz and the fact that she neither confirmed nor denied the speculation, added fuel to the fire.

A diamond ring on the ring finger can't mean anything else but that Saif has popped the question, right?

Priyanka on a roll

Looks like the beautiful Priyanka Chopra's list of boyfriends has come a full circle. No, she has not gone back to her first love Harman Baweja, but to her Hollywood love Gerard Butler whom she met in Dubai during the grand opening of Atlantis a year ago.

The 300 actor apparently is so smitten by Piggy Chops that he went down on one knee and proposed to her when he met her last. Now we have no idea whether she has accepted his proposal or not.

What is known is that this girl is definitely riding a high horse, what with awards pouring in for her scintillating performances on-screen and some of the most eligible men in Bollywood and one in Hollywood falling at her feet. Lucky girl, isn't she?
