Soha Ali Khan to play female lead in ‘Ghayal’ sequel

Actress Soha Ali Khan is all set to star opposite Sunny Deol in Ghayal 2, the sequel of the 1990 action drama, Ghayal.

“To put an end to the confusion, I am playing the female lead in Ghayal 2 but it’s not a romantic film — it is, as expected, an action thriller,” she posted on Twitter.

The story of the sequel will reportedly begin from where Ghayal ended, so Khan is not reprising Meenakshi Seshadri’s role from the original, which was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.

Deol, 58, was recently spotted shooting in Kala Ghoda.
