Shahbana Azmi reveals new look for ‘Idgah’

Veteran actress Shahbana Azmi has shared a photo of herself on social media, revealing her look for her upcoming movie, Idgah.

The film is based on Hindi writer Premchand’s short story of the same name. The 65-year-old actress posted a close-up of herself in traditional headgear, sans make-up, on Twitter.

The photo was accompanied with a caption. “Hi tweepies. Please let me know your reactions to this look for my new film.”

The photo got reactions from Rishi Kapoor, Sunidhi Chauhan, Rohit Roy and fans.

Azmi thanked her fans for the positive response.

“Tweepies thank you so much for your responses to my look in #Piyush Panjuani’s ‘Idgah’. I move ahead secure in the knowledge of your approval,” she wrote.

The actress’ last venture was the Sonam Kapoor-starrer Neerja.
