Manisha Koirala attends yoga camp in Nepal

Bollywood actress and cancer surivor says she regained her health after she turned to the ancient practice

Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala attended a yoga event organised by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu.

Around 500 people, including students from various schools in Kathmandu, performed yogic asanas in the camp organised by the Indian Embassy in collaboration with Osho Tapoban and Kathmandu Patanjali Yoga Kendra.

Koirala and Yogmata Keko Aikawa from Japan were among the prominent personalities who attended the camp, the Indian Embassy said in a statement.

India’s Ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri also attended the event organised to mark the third International Day of Yoga.

Addressing the gathering, Koirala shared her personal experiences of benefits of Yoga for a holistic living and fulfilling life.

The 46-year-old actress turned to yoga and regained her health after she was diagnosed as a cancer patient.
