Kareena Kapoor Khan dons 32kg lehenga in ‘Ki and Ka’ song

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has sported a lehenga weighing over 32 kilograms for a track in her upcoming R Balki project Ki and Ka.

The outfit, designed by Kapoor’s favourite Manish Malhotra, has heavy zardosi (hand embroidery) and several layers of net.

Kapoor shot for the song in the heavy lehenga for over two days at a suburban studio. The song has been choreographed by Bosco.

“Though Kareena sports a completely Western look throughout the film, she didn’t want to disappoint her fans and hence went completely Indian for the song in Ki and Ka. Her lehenga weighs over 32kg and is designed by close friend Manish Malhotra,” a source said.

The actress plays the role of a businesswoman in the movie, which sees her pairing with Arjun Kapoor for the first time.

The 34-year-old Bajrangi Bhaijaan actress’ outfits in the film include smart casuals, suits and other outfits that reflect power dressing in sync with her role.
