The actress took to social media to share intimate moments from her sunset wedding, with pictures of Rekhi and her performing Hindu wedding rituals while circling the fire. The actress also put up an endearing post about finding true love.

“Love is a full-circle that we call home. And what a miracle it is to hear its knock, open the door and be found by it. Sharing this moment of completion and joy with you..my extended family. May all puzzles find their missing pieces, may all hearts heal and may the miracle of love continue to unfold all around us,” she posted.

Mirza did away with the big fat Bollywood wedding to have a small affair amid the pandemic, dressed in a red and gold Raw Mango traditional sari. The design label is a firm favourite with celebrities such as Deepika Padukone and Karisma Kapoor.

Her look was put together by celebrity costume designer and stylist Theia Tekchandaney. Mirza kept her style simple with polki jewellery by designer brand Tyaani Jewellery. A maang tikka was adorned on her forehead, coupled with a choker and simple bangles to complete her look. Rekhi, meanwhile, looked dapper in a white kurta and churidar (traditional Indian clothes), paired with a waistcoat and golden turban.
