Alia Bhatt: ‘Udta Punjab’ is big risk I’ve taken

Alia Bhatt portrayed a rich college student in her debut film Student of the Year and then a free-spirited woman in 2 States and Highway. Now the 22-year-old is taking a big challenge in Udta Punjab.

“The film that I am doing right now [Udta Punjab] is a big risk that I have taken so far in my career,” Bhatt said on Monday during the launch of a magazine.

“I still can’t talk about the film but it is definitely the hardest film, hardest character that I have played till date,” added the actress, who showed her bubbly side in films such as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.

Udta Punjab, directed by Abhishek Chaubey, also features Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh.
