UAE urges responsible shopping to maintain price stability and supply

Al Ain: The UAE’s Minister of Economy has reassured consumers that there are no signs of shortages in food supplies, urging residents to shop responsibly and avoid unnecessary stockpiling.
During a field visit to the fruits and vegetables market in Al Ain, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, said the daily flow of imported goods is normal, with sufficient quantities available in warehouses and distribution points.

He stressed that there are no indicators of supply disruptions or shortages in essential commodities, noting that supply chains continue to operate smoothly.
The minister called on consumers to purchase according to their actual needs and avoid excessive buying that could lead to waste, emphasising that responsible consumption helps maintain price stability and ensures the continued availability of goods for everyone.
The visit is part of ongoing efforts to monitor market conditions and ensure the stability of supply chains across the country.
