Quirky punctuation aside, there is literally nowhere better to impress than at this 122nd floor spot. At night, The Lounge part of this restaurant and bar livens up with a jazz pianist. Definitely book ahead, and remember that from 6pm-midnight there’s a minimum spend of Dh200, but for men only.

White X Beach Lounge

This brand new beach bar looks out over the Burj Al Arab from The Palm’s crescent and has gorgeous beachside seating. It’s still quite low-key, mainly because people don’t know about it yet!

Belgian Beer Cafe

Just a few months into operation and this mussels and hops spot is already one of the most bustling in town. It’s a great option to head to with mates if you fancy good food and good conversation in a jovial pub. We love the mussels and the steak tartare, and the Leffe brews are like no other.

We’re going to make sure to visit the sprawling terrace of this shisha and mixed drinks spot before it gets too hot. It’s always surprisingly bustling, even on weeknights, and especially on Tuesdays, when ladies get free cocktails from 8pm-10pm.

Allure by Cipriani

It’s worth visiting this club, bar, lounge at least once just to see the breathtaking interior design (the ceiling looks like a high-tech jigsaw puzzle). You’ll probably find yourself returning, however, thanks to the terrace that has views of the Grand Prix circuit and the indoor Super Club, which has conceptual lighting and plush decor.
