Baby Bachchan, Aaradhya: First pics!

As she flew back in from a long week dazzling Cannes as an ambassador for L’Oreal, Aishwarya Rai has made her first public appearance with her six-month-old baby girl, Aaradhya since the baby was born on November 16 last year.

After her 11th appearance on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, Ash arrived at Mumbai International Airport to be greeted by her husband Abhishek, while her in-laws, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, waited for mum and baby in the car.

Unexpectedly, Ash and ‘Beti B’ – whose real name Big B confirmed over his Twitter on May 19 saying “Her name is Aaradhya” – emerged through the public exit of the airport, as opposed to the VIP exit and were soon mobbed by waiting photographers.

Ever the professional Ash didn’t lose her cool, with that famous smile on her lips the whole time, but one onlooker reported seeing Abhi go into protective dad mode when one pap got a bit too close, saying, “Abhishek suddenly got angry when one camera person almost came in Aishwarya's way. He asked the man to be careful.”
