Abdullah reaffirms his keenness to strengthen and build trade and economic partnerships
Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received the UAE’s membership as an observer at the Pacific Alliance.
The Pacific Alliance is a Latin American trade bloc, formed by Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
While receiving the membership, Shaikh Abdullah reaffirmed his keenness to strengthen and build trade and economic partnerships to gradually move towards freedom of investments movement as well as driving further growth and development and competitiveness of the economy members.
Shaikh Abdullah also lauded this move and the efforts of members, stressing that membership represents a platform for political expression and economic and trade integration.
